2025-26 outlook: Last season, Century had its best finish at the Class 2A state meet since 2020, when it also finished sixth. The Panthers hope to be a conference and section favorite once again with a stacked senior class leading the way, including five All-State swimmers — Grady Bargfrede, Eli Holmes, Andrew Linden, Everett Nord and William Truskowski. This group of seniors helped the Panthers qualify all three of their relay teams for the state meet. Century returns seven state qualifiers in total, including junior diver Silas Wagstaff and junior Grant Garrison, who placed 16th in the 500-yard freestyle. Holmes earned two top-seven finishes at state last winter in the 100-yard breaststroke (third, 57.22) and the 100-yard freestyle (seventh, 46.45). Other swimmers with top 16 finishes at last year's state meet are Linden (50 free, 16th, 21.90) and Truskowski (ninth, 100 butterfly, 50.93), (11th, 200 individual medley, 1:55.39).
Coach Freeman says: "We are welcoming many new teammates and have our largest team ever of 39 boys, 34 swimmers and five divers. Each season we start over, no matter that we are undefeated dual meet season, defending Big Nine Champions, defending Section 1, Class 2A champions and a lofty sixth place at the Class 2A state meet. Those are what we aim to exceed, but we need to start from scratch and work towards our goals one practice at a time."
Head coach: Scott Diercks (4th season).

Last season: The Spartans placed second at the Section 1, Class 2A meet (359 points) and placed third of 12 teams at the Big Nine Conference meet (365 points). They finished 23rd of 38 teams at the Class 2A state meet (20 points).
Top returners: Will Leasure (Jr., state qualifier, All-Conference), Will Boorjian (Sr., state qualifier, All-Conference).
2025-26 outlook: The Spartans had a solid postseason in 2024-25, finishing as runners-up at the Section 1-2A meet behind Century. Then-sophomore Will Leasure was a state qualifier in four events — 100 freestyle (conference and section champ), 200 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay. Senior Will Boorjian was a state qualifier alongside Leasure in the 400 free relay. Boorjian is a team captain for the Spartans this season with Evan Cunningham and Aidan Carnell. Mayo looks to be a section and conference contender this winter.

Among the new additions, (sophomore) Kai Joyner looks to be one of the top swimmers at conference, sections and state. Mayo expects to have a very competitive dual meet season and will be exciting to watch in the postseason."
Head coach: Kendrick Bachman (3rd season as head coach, 13th year with JM).
Assistants: Greg Andrews (diving).
Last season: The Rockets finished eighth (69 points) at the Section 1, Class 2A meet, 11th of 12 teams at the Big Nine Conference meet (44 points) and 0-8 in dual meets.

2025-26 outlook: The Rockets are the smallest and youngest team in town, but they work to improve each year. Some of JM's top returners include senior Ben Wallace, junior Ivan Mamaril and sophomore Mason Nguyen. Those three competed in the Section 1, Class 2A meet last season, during which the Rockets placed eighth out of eight teams. Nguyen finished seventh in the 200-yard medley relay alongside then-senior trio Owen Janssen, Ron An and Maxwell Nguyen with a time of 1:54.33. Nguyen, Mamaril and Wallace swam together in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the section meet with then senior Hudsen Auger, finishing eighth of eight teams in the championship final (3:52.82).
