The Seattle Seahawks cruised to victory in Week 13, defeating the Minnesota Vikings 26-0. Despite the lopsided scoreline, superstar wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba wasn't a big factor. Smith-Njigba endured his quietest game of the season, recording just two catches on four targets for 23 receiving yards.

The game began as a defensive affair, with kicker Jason Myers putting the Seahawks up 3-0 in the second quarter. Late in the second quarter, linebacker Ernest Jones IV registered an 84-yard pick-six return touchdown of Vikings rookie undrafted free agent quarterback Max Brosmer. Another Myers field goal gave the Seahawks a 13-0 halftime lead.

The Seahawks kicked another pair of field goals in the third quarter. Running back Zach Charbonnet rushed for a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to the eventual final score of 26-0.

The Seahawks gained just 219 yards of offense. They took full advantage of Brosmer, who was making his first career start. Brosmer threw four interceptions, becoming the first quarterback to do so in his debut start since Nathan Peterman in 2017.

The Seahawks didn't need a big-time performance from Smith-Njigba on Sunday. Mike Macdonald's squad enjoyed a blowout 26-0 win despite a quiet offensive showing. Finding different ways to win is a sign of a team trending in the right direction.
