LSU fans have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Most of those revolve around a new head coach and the end of the worst offense in school history, but the holiday weekend also featured the triumphant return of the NFL’s most decorated alumnus. We will break that down along with every other game.
Packers 31 at Lions 24
Okay, well… nothing to be thankful for in this game.

Bengals 32 at Ravens 14
After an agonizing two and half months, Joe Burrow returned to the football field and reminded everyone what a difference maker he is. Joe we 24-46 for 261 yards with 2 TDs, 0 INTs and only 1 sack!
While they only punched the ball in the end zone twice, Joe’s control of the offense allowed them to dominate time of possession with almost 39 minutes, and complete eight scoring drives. Both TDs were third down strikes to guys who weren’t really striking fear in defenses’ hearts without No. 9 throwing to them.
Ja’Marr Chase caught seven passes for 110 yards, both game-highs. Is it too late for the Bengals to make a playoff push with Burrow back? Proooooobably, but they were also 4-8 at this point last year and ran the table, only missing the postseason due to tiebreakers. The Bengals have won their last eight games where Joe Burrow started, so we will be tuned in no matter what.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementOn the Ravens side, they FINALLY gave Emery Jones some snaps. Immediately after the NBC broadcast spotlighted him, Lamar Jackson was sacked and fumbled, but Emery WAS NOT responsible! He was five yards up field locking his rusher up. That’s good enough for me to call him their Offensive Player of the Game.
