“The Incredible Hok” is out of the Apex.
Controversial Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight prospect Josh Hokit will make his second Octagon appearance when he faces Denzel Freeman next month (Sat., Jan. 24, 2025) at UFC 324 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hokit (7-0) made waves in his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 111, starching Max Gimenis in just 56 seconds and earning a $50,000 post-fight bonus (watch highlights). He followed it up with a Chael Sonnen–inspired promo that called out surging Brazilian contender Valter Walker — a fight he obviously didn’t get.
The 28-year-old former NFL practice-squad fullback boasts a 100 percent finish rate with four knockouts and three submissions, five of those stoppages coming in the first round.
Freeman (7-1), meanwhile, earned a unanimous decision win in his UFC debut at UFC Qatar, though the bout was so awful and forgettable that his opponent, Marek Bujlo, was released from the promotion days later. “Luke Fox” carries a three-fight winning streak into his sophomore appearance and holds a 70 percent finish rate with four knockouts. Here’s hoping he leaves a better impression than his UFC debut.
