We're deep into the first month of college basketball season, but before you know it, UNC will return to the baseball field.
North Carolina won the ACC Championship earlier in 2025, a Regional and advanced to the Super Regional Round. The Diamond Heels had a second-straight trip to the College World Series in their back pockets, but a costly error and cold bats cost them late in Game 3 against Arizona.

The Diamond Heels begin their ACC Title Defense against Indiana, which comes to Chapel Hill for a February 13-15 weekend set. UNC then hosts Richmond and Longwood for a pair of mid-week games, followed by its annual home-neutral-home series with fellow, in-state power East Carolina.
North Carolina then closes its February slate with NC A&T, VCU and a weekend series against Le Moyne College. The Diamond Heels stay home to begin March, hosting Elon and Bucknell in a pair of Tuesday games, sandwiched around their ACC-opening series against Virginia.
UNC makes its first trip to California on March 13, facing the Golden Bears in a 3-game weekend set. UNC-Greensboro and Louisville come to Boshamer Stadium, then North Carolina heads down to Charlotte for its annual rivalry game with South Carolina. A road series at Notre Dame and Tuesday clash at Campbell close out March.

UNC finishes April on the road at Duke, then hosts Coastal Carolina and Queens to close April overall. North Carolina then completes its home slate with a singular game against Duke on May 3, followed by a mid-week game against Winthrop and weekend series vs. Pitt.
Trips to UNC-Wilmington and NC State then close the Diamond Heels' regular season, before the ACC Tournament from May 19-24 at Truist Field in Charlotte.
How many games will UNC win? With several projected returners and a couple impactful transfers, North Carolina is poised for another big run.
