The Michigan Wolverines have signatures from the majority of their 2026 class members at this point, but one of the notable ones is four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson.

The Top-150 overall prospect announced on Wednesday that he would be delaying his signing “until further notice.” It was later reported by various outlets that Stanford — yes, Stanford — was the team holding things up and was making a late push at him.

In response to that, Ron Bellamy and the Wolverines are gearing up for a flip of their own. Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong ($) reported on Wednesday night that Michigan is making one last attempt at flipping four-star Georgia wide receiver commit Brady Marchese. He is slated to sign his letter of intent on Thursday, per the report.

If that name sounds familiar, that’s because Marchese took a surprise official visit to Ann Arbor the first weekend in June. While that visit didn’t result in the 6-foot-1, 183-pounder and Top-150 overall prospect in his own right from initially committing to the Wolverines, perhaps this final push by Michigan will set him over the edge.

If Robinson does indeed end up flipping to Stanford, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Wolverines try to find some spare change in the couch cushions to entice Marchese to flip over to them. As we always say, stay tuned for more developments as the early signing period continues.
