Kaiden Prothro was a major target for Georgia this cycle and when Todd Hartley pursues, most of the time he gets his guy. This time was no different. And now Prothro has put pen to paper and officially signed with the Bulldogs.

Prothro is a three-time state champion at Bowdon (Ga.), so he is a winner. The 6-foot-5 1/2, 216-pound five-star is a mismatch nightmare too. He is a basketball star with natural athleticism and the ability to change games with his skill set.

He was Georgia was looking for this cycle and Georgia has what he is looking for.

“There are a lot of things I love about Georgia,” Prothro said. “How the program is run really stands out. What Coach Hartley does in the tight end room is big for me. Being able to go against first-round draft picks every day at practice and how they compete fits me too. Georgia just has what I am looking for.”

The No. 30 prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking is ready to be a part of one of the top college football programs in the country.

Kirby Smart is the leader. He keeps his players motivated and Prothro is excited about playing for him.
