Prime Video's much-anticipated God of War adaptation is adding more firepower behind the camera as the series begins to ramp up. Fresh off his Emmy win for last year's Shōgun, director Frederick E.O. Toye has joined the creative team, according to a new report, and is set to helm the first two episodes of the video game series. His addition comes as the show has begun pre-production in Vancouver and is now casting, meaning things are moving quickly towards finally bringing Kratos and Atreus to life. It's now also officially confirmed that it'll begin with a two-season order at the streamer, as previously mentioned.
