The Detroit Lions continue to tinker with the team's practice squad as the team heads into Week 14.

On Monday, ahead of Thursday's primetime matchup with the Dallas Cowboys from Ford Field, the Lions added wide receiver Andrew Armstrong to the practice squad. Armstrong is an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas, where he was a one-year teammate of Lions third-round wideout Isaac TeSlaa. He's a big target at just under 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds. Armstrong was initially with the Miami Dolphins and caught a pass against the Lions in the preseason game between the two teams.

Creating a spot for Armstrong on the practice squad required the Lions to release veteran OL Netane Muti from the unit. Muti, who was with the team over the last two summers, was signed to the Lions practice squad in November.

The Lions added two other players to the practice squad on Sunday, signing TE Giovanni Ricci and RB Jabari Small.
