They’ve been speaking on their Podcast to review some of the Premier League games over the weekend, and of course, Chelsea vs Arsenal was a hot topic.

EXCLUSIVE!! Chelsea looking at shock move for Manchester United defender!!

The game ended 1-1 but Chelsea will feel aggrieved because I think they were the better side overall, and that is even after losing Moises Caicedo to a red card after just 38 minutes into the match.

Chelsea took the lead though early in the second half and it had the whole of Stamford Bridge believing that we could even go on to win this game with ten men.

But Shearer believes that even though Chelsea are in good form now, they are not yet title contenders still.

Shearer on Chelsea

As cited on SPTC, Shearer said:

“I won’t change my mind yet. I think Chelsea will finish in the top four. I don’t see them having quite enough [to win the title].

“But hey, I didn’t fancy them to win the Club World Cup when they won it, so that shows you what pundits think. But I think anyone going in against Chelsea will know they’re going to have to play really, really well against them.”

Richards agrees

Micah Richards speaking on the Rest is Football.

The former Manchester City right back said:

“He’s amazing. But Chelsea, can they go on and win the league? I think they’re a little bit short, because I think other teams have better squads.

“But if you look at any game, if you look at PSG in the club world club, you know the trophies they won last season. In any game, they can beat anybody.

“And I’ve said it for the last couple of weeks now, watching them, I don’t think it’s enough to go the full way, but just every given day, the manager, he just knows the tactics spawn and the players buy into it.”
