The mixed martial arts (MMA) world witnessed one of the bloodiest fights in recent memory last night (Fri., Nov. 29, 2025) at WOW 24 LIVE on UFC Fight Pass from Vitoria, Spain, and the canvas might never be the same.

Hardcore fans were searching for some combat action this weekend as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took off for the Thanksgiving holiday. While some watched boxers vomit through the ropes others tuned in to catch international shows like WOW 24, which included a featherweight matchup between Nico Medina and Rachid Archaoui that featured an absolute bloodbath.

Medina, who has trained alongside UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, was making his anticipated pro MMA debut. The talented Spanish fighter was expected to show out in dominant fashion, but nobody knew Medina would create such a bloody mess inside of the cage. This especially goes for Archaoui, who had won his lone professional fight this past February.

Needless to say, Medina had his way with Archaoui from the opening bell. He was the better striker and grappler, amassing damage early on and dominating every exchange. This includes some valuable time in top control in which Medina landed some nasty elbows to cut Archaoui up.

As the fight went on Archaoui’s blood began to paint the cage red. It got worse and worse as Medina kept his output up and Archaoui had little to offer on the defensive end. Medina was finally able to put an end to his blood-soaked performance with an arm-triangle choke in the third round. It wasn’t a lightning-fast finish from Topuria’s training partner, but a memorable debut to say the least.
