Arizona Cardinals OL Christian Jones designated to return from IR

The Arizona Cardinals have some offensive line depth on the way back. The team announced that offensive lineman Christian Jones was designated to return from injured reserve, opening a 21-day window in which he can practice and then must be activated or revert to IR for the rest of the season.

Jones, a second-year player who was drafted by the Cardinals in the fifth round last year, was placed on IR with roster cuts and designated as a player who could return. He suffered a knee injury during the preseason.

Jones also began his rookie season on injured reserve in 2024. He came back and was a healthy scratch for eight games. He played in the final two games and started at right tackle in Week 18.
