An unfilmed chapter in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill saga has gotten a teaser trailer, as it will now be brought to life through Fortnite. Starring Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo a.k.a. "The Bride," the two-part action adventure follows a young woman seeking revenge on all those who destroyed her life years earlier.
A deleted chapter from Kill Bill was called "Yuki's Revenge," which would have followed Yuki, the sister of Gogo Yubari (Chiaki Kuriyama), as she hunts down The Bride to avenge her sister's death. Now, Yuki's Revenge will premiere as a scene in Fortnite on November 30 at 2 p.m. ET, thanks to a collaboration between Tarantino and Epic Games.
Gogo is the bodyguard of O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu) when The Bride arrives to kill the latter because of her part in the conspiracy against her. Beatrix subsequently kills Gogo, the army of assassins known as the Crazy 88, and O-Ren. In the lost chapter, Yuki then comes to Los Angeles to hunt down Beatrix, and chaos ensues, as seen in the teaser.
Check out the teaser trailer for Yuki's Revenge, featuring mutliple Fortnite characters, below:
Additionally, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will soon be released theatrically as one movie, the long-awaited director's cut titled Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. As a bonus, participating venues will also screen Yuki's Revenge alongside The Whole Bloody Affair's limited theatrical run from December 5, according to Fortnite.
The possibility of a third Kill Bill movie, potentially following another character who would want to go after Beatrix, has long been discussed, but Tarantino has shot down the idea of Kill Bill Vol. 3. Tarantino's abandoned idea for Kill Bill 3 would have seen Nikki, Vernita Green’s (Vivica A. Fox) young daughter in Vol. 1, hunting down Beatrix once she has grown up.
While they may never see Kill Bill Vol. 3 starring the popular fancast of Zendaya and Maya Hawke, fans can still play through Fortnite's take on Kill Bill very soon. Uma Thurman returns as Beatrix in The Lost Chapter: Yuki's Revenge, which can be found in the top row of Discover from November 30. "Doors for the viewing experience open 30 minutes before the show starts," per Fortnite's blog.
