The Buffalo Bills have shared some news on quarterback Josh Allen that isn't the best ahead of the team's Steelers game.

The Buffalo Bills fell short on Thursday, Nov. 20, against the Houston Texans, with a crushing 23-19 loss. To rebound, they're going to need quarterback Josh Allen ready to go against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

But now, there's been a new development with Allen. The Buffalo Bills have been dealing with plenty of injuries as of late. Some players are out for the season, while others are on a week-to-week status, but either way, it's been a challenge for the team. That's partly why their record is 7-4 right now and not higher.

During the team's loss to the Houston Texans, the team got even more injured. Offensive players Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown were both injured during the game, and Allen also went down at one point, which led to plenty of gasps in the crowd.

Allen had been expected to take the field against the Steelers on Sunday, but now, that's a bit in question. Before practice on Wednesday, head coach Sean McDermott talked about the team's current injury situation, and he shared that Allen is on the injury report. The good news is that Allen is still a full participant in practice, as he deals with general soreness. So, it should be a go for him on Sunday.

Also ahead of practice, McDermott discussed tight end Dalton Kincaid's injury status, saying, "there's a chance" he'll be able to play in the Week 13 showdown, even though he didn't practice on Wednesday. Players who didn't practice on Wednesday include Terrel Bernard, Spencer Brown, Dalton Kincaid, Curtis Samuel and Dion Dawkins. Also, cornerback Maxwell Hairston and defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis were limited for Wednesday's practice.

Following the loss to the Colts, Allen took the blame. "It's not fun. I ran into a couple myself," Allen said, according to the NFL. "I have to be better with throwing the ball away, living to see another down, letting us play some situational football and pinning them deep. Too many times, I was going backwards, and I have to be better on that."

So, hopefully Allen and the crew have more "fun" on Sunday against the Steelers than they did losing to the Texans. Fingers-crossed that Allen will be rested up and ready to go.
