Guard Donovan Jackson has looked like a homerun selection for the Vikings through the early parts of the season. He was impressive in the first two weeks before injury hit him and derailed his momentum. He returned in Week 7 after the team's Bye Week, and he looked like he picked up right where he left off in the weeks since.
To get some added context on his overall performance from a Week 12 where he was a bright spot in a game that had many, we can turn to Pro Football Focus for that.

Wasserman writes, "Jackson was beaten on just one of his 17 pass-blocking reps this week and led all Vikings offensive linemen in PFF pass-blocking grade (76.2). Unfortunately, he suffered an ankle injury late in the third quarter of his team’s loss to the Packers, which could put his status in doubt for their upcoming matchup against the Seahawks."
Jackson had a grade of 61.1, which was just under his season average of 61.3. The Packers' defensive line had its way with the Vikings, but Jackson, as we mentioned, was one of the bright spots on the offense. He has proven to be a hit for general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, which is good for him, as his draft history needed it as he goes into what is likely a hot-seat offseason.
