By Cole SullivanShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWeek 13 of the NFL season kicks off on Thursday, with three games on the schedule, but the most anticipated matchup appears to be the massive CBS showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) and the Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1).
Both teams are coming off huge Week 12 wins: the Chiefs pulled off an overtime victory against the Indianapolis Colts, while the Cowboys erased a 21-0 deficit to beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ahead of Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. EST kickoff, CBS made a major announcement on Tuesday, revealing that the Chiefs’ OT win was CBS Sports’ most-watched November single-header on any network in 35 years, drawing 24 million viewers.

Speculation is already building that Thursday’s matchup between the Chiefs and Cowboys could become one of the most-watched regular-season games ever, airing on a national holiday and featuring two of the NFL’s most popular franchises.
"50M+ on thanksgiving day," a fan said.
Someone else added, "The Chiefs are the common denominator on all the record-breaking games. Fox giving them the Cowboys versus Chiefs crazy."
Another person wrote, "Chiefs are America’s Team!"
"The Chiefs Cowboys game is gonna smash the viewing record easily," one more fan commented.
...Calling Thursday’s game will be none other than Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. Meanwhile, the other games include the NFC North rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions on Fox at 1 p.m. EST, and an AFC North showdown on NBC Sports later in the evening, when the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens.
