WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Loudoun United captain and midfielder Drew Skundrich announced Tuesday that he is retiring from professional soccer.
Skundrich made his debut for Loudoun in March 2024. Over two seasons with the club, he recorded 59 appearances, scoring two goals and adding one assist across all competitions.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHis professional career spanned Major League Soccer and the USL Championship. Skundrich played for D.C. United from 2021–22 and appeared in 212 career matches after beginning his professional journey in 2016.
