Buddy Hield enjoyed his highest-scoring game of the season so far as he dropped 20 points against the Utah Jazz on Monday, Nov. 24. The veteran sharpshooter has struggled for consistency in recent weeks, following up an 18-point outing against the Miami Heat with a goose egg against the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 21.
During his postgame news conference, Heild discussed his impressive showing and the importance of staying focused when things aren't going your way.
"It's great to see some going down, but it's gonna be a rough season, just up and down, trying to figure it out," Hield said. "...Hopefully I can build up this one, and then build up the next one, and take one at a time...Just trying to figure it out, this is life, we all go through our ups and downs."
Hield, 32, is in his second season with the Warriors. Last season, he played in all 82 of the franchise's regular-season games, averaging 11. points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists, shooting 52.7% from two-point range and 37% from deep. Of course, having Hield at the top of the game is a huge boost to the Warriors, as it gives them another catch-and-shoot threat from deep and ensures their spacing is kept an elite level.

After all, Ime Udoka's team is among the best in the league, and for Golden State to stand a chance of winning, everyone must be ready to play and compete at a high level.
