Alabama cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. has officially been named as a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.
Lee has played a crucial role in the Alabama secondary throughout the entire 2025 campaign. At 6'4", 202 pounds, Lee is an athletic playmaker with significant potential as he has added a major boost to the Crimson Tide's defense in recent weeks. The rising star currently has 30 total tackles on the year along with two interceptions, as Lee has continued to make his presence known on a consistent basis throughout his freshman year.

The talented defensive back played a crucial role in the Tide's road win against Missouri as well, as Lee was able to secure a game ending interception on the Tigers' final drive of the game. The former five-star recruit is currently one of five freshman to be named as a finalist for the award as Lee finds himself with an excellent chance at earning the honor.
Lee and the rest of the Alabama defense will look to continue playing at an elite level against Georgia on Saturday afternoon, as the Tide will host the Bulldogs in Atlanta in a fight for the SEC Championship.
