The Las Vegas Raiders will take a look at the son of a former player of the franchise and the greatest wide receiver ever to live.
The team announced Wednesday morning they have signed wide receiver Brenden Rice to their practice squad. He is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, who played for the Oakland Raiders from 2001-04 during his stellar career.

Rice, 23, was a seventh-round draft pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2024 out of USC where he was a standout.
Rice played three games as a rookie with the Chargers. He has played three offensive snaps and 10 special teams snaps in the NFL regular season with no stats.
The Chargers cut him in August. He was on the New England Patriots’ practice squad for a week in early November and he was on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad for two weeks before being released Tuesday.
Now, the Silver and Black are taking a look at the GOAT’s son.
