By Evan MasseyShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberJordan Love and the Green Bay Packers enter Week 14 against the Chicago Bears with an 8-3-1 record. As for the Bears, they hold a 9-3 record. This week's game would give the Packers a lead in the NFC North division race if they can pull off a win.
Throughout the course of the 2025 NFL season, Love has taken a big step in the right direction from a developmental perspective. He has Green Bay looking like a potential Super Bowl contender at this point in the season.
So far this season in 12 games played, the 27-year-old quarterback has completed 67 percent of his pass attempts for 2,794 yards, 19 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He has also picked up 164 yards on the ground.

Following the Packers' win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, Love has officially entered Patrick Mahomes territory.
...As shared by Packer Report's Jacob Morley, Love has now recorded 16 games with mulitple passing touchdowns and no interceptions in his first 40 starts. Mahomes is the only player in NFL history with more, having 19 of those games.
"Jordan Love has recorded 16 games with multiple passing TDs/zero INTs in his first 40 starts," Morley wrote on X. "The only player in NFL history with more: Patrick Mahomes: 19."
Simply looking at Love's numbers, the improvement has been very clear. He has taken much better care of the football and has been making more plays without putting the football in danger.
Moving forward, Green Bay has a difficult schedule throughout the remainder of the regular season. This week, the Packers will take on the Bears. After that game, they will hit the road to take on the Denver Broncos, play against the Bears again in Chicago, at home against the Baltimore Ravens, and finally on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

Anytime a quarterback can enter Mahomes territory, it's a very good sign. Love is starting to live up to the hype and contract that he has received.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the 2025 season has in store for Love and Green Bay. Perhaps this is the season that he takes the Packers on a Super Bowl run and firmly cements himself as a top-five NFL quarterback.
