Evaluation:
Williams is a fascinating prospect because he has very high-level offers, but I’m not sure if anyone has a consensus on what side of the ball he should play. He has exceptional skills as a runner after the catch as a receiver, while also using his ball skills to be a strong cover corner who can run with just about anyone down the field. The Cards will use him at wide receiver, and I think that’s his best position. His aggression and toughness as a corner should translate to the next level and help him excel as a receiver.

His ability to make people miss in the open field will be a welcome sight to the group of receivers. An area where Williams will need to improve is his bulk. He is listed anywhere between 160 and 185 pounds, but I’d put him on the smaller side of that range. If he can put on some weight, he can at least be an option as a returner on special teams early on.
