By Cole SullivanShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWith Week 14 on the horizon, NFL legend and current Fox Sports commentator Tom Brady, in his second season in the booth, revealed his updated weekly power rankings on Tuesday.
Brady had largely kept the Philadelphia Eagles atop his rankings this season, but after two consecutive losses, it’s difficult to justify keeping them at No. 1—at least for now. He introduced a new team to the top spot, one he’s very familiar with.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion ranked the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Rams from No. 10 to No. 6.
His top five consisted of the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and, at No. 1, the New England Patriots—the team where he spent 20 seasons of his career, winning six of his seven Lombardi Trophies.
“And you know what that means? Yep. After a serious drought, the New England Patriots are No. 1 in the power rankings,” Brady said. “New England hasn’t faced the league’s hardest schedule—it’s actually been the easiest. But this team passes the eye test, and Vrabel had them flying around on all three phases on Monday night.”

"If Brady’s putting them at No. 1, that means they’re officially terrifying," a fan said.
Someone else added, "Tom Brady finally got one right! Patriots back on top where they belong. Good Lord willing, they’ll bring that Lombardi home to Foxboro. Amen to that!."
Another person wrote, "THE GOAT KNOWS."
"Patriots finally at # 1 on your list. Yessss. Let’s go Patriots!" One more fan commented.
...The Patriots are currently 11-2 overall and are entering their bye week ahead of a huge Week 15 showdown against the Buffalo Bills. A win in that game would clinch the AFC East for New England.
Second-year quarterback Drake Maye is having an MVP-caliber season, all under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel—an encouraging sign for what’s ahead in Foxborough in the coming years.
