Red Dead Redemption 2 Continues To Surprise Players With Hilarious New Discovery

There are so many times when Red Dead Redemption 2 zigs and zags, we haven't found everything yet, but I think we're getting close.

In many ways, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the gift that keeps on giving. Every so often, an open-world game will come around and enamor everyone for a few months, but Rockstar's AAA western is so widely played that we're still hearing about it.

Take this hilarious discovery over on Reddit, involving protagonist Arthur Morgan. Despite having played the game for well over 100 hours, I've never seen anything quite like it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Still Full Of Surprises

The Game Keeps On Giving

One big thing to note about open world games is that it's tough to discover absolutely everything. I'm not talking about getting a Platinum trophy or 100%ing the game; rather, discovering every single weird glitch or oddity that the massive game world can muster. We're one step closer, at least, thanks to this find from Reddit user severe-blake6720.

Today, in "things I didn't know you could do," it seems that if you jump off a horse right before a cutscene triggers, Arthur runs throughout the whole scene, keeping continuity. It's the kind of thing you love to see in a game like this. Not only is Red Dead Redemption 2 filled with planned secrets and nuances, but it also has hilarious tidbits like this play out.

I'm Gearing Up To Replay It

While watching Arthur getting in his steps, I felt compelled to replay Red Dead Redemption 2 again. I explored pretty much everything I could the first time around, but dynamic and oddball moments like these really made the game for a lot of people, myself included. In another go-around, maybe I'll see some stuff I haven't seen before.

As we wait for the inevitable remaster of Red Dead Redemption 2, the original still exists, and is widely available on pretty much every major platform, albeit not natively. Given how well it sold, it's only a matter of time until we at least get a fully current-gen edition.
