Bournemouth welcome Everton to the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday evening, with both sides looking to recover from defeats at the weekend..

The Cherries come into the match on the back of a 3-2 loss against Sunderland, a game which saw them became the latest team to leave the Stadium of Light empty handed in what has been a superb home start to the season for the Black Cats.

Andoni Iraola’s side have now lost four games in a row, with their last win coming at home against Nottingham Forest in October in the form of a 2-0 victory.

Since then, they have suffered defeat to Aston Villa and Manchester City, along with a draw at home to West Ham.

Despite their recent struggles, they’re are undefeated at home in the Premier League since their last defeat against Aston Villa in May.

Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon Doak are out injured with Matai Akinmboni a doubt due to fitness.

They will also be without Lewis Cook, David Brooks, and Marcos Senesi who are suspended.

Meanwhile, Everton travel to the Vitality Stadium on the back of two wins, one draw and one loss in their last five Premier League games: wins against Fulham and Manchester United were sandwiched between defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United and a draw with Sunderland.

David Moyes has no fresh injury worries for his side, but will still be without Seamus Coleman, Jarrad Braithwaite, Merlin Röhl and Nathan Patterson due to injuries.

In the pre-match press conference, he said: “We’re looking okay, but we went into Newcastle carrying a couple of boys with injuries from the game in midweek. They played. Possibly, on another day, if we’d had other players available, we might have altered that. But no excuses from that point of view.

“We had a brilliant win on Monday night [at Manchester United]. We probably went into Saturday still carrying a bit into the game, as well. We were still carrying a couple of small injuries.”

On his four injured players, he added: “None of them are available for the game. We’re missing Merlin at the moment, the extra midfield player.

“Seamus would have given us extra cover at right-back and, with Jarrad out, we’re limited at what we have available at centre-back as well.”

The match will be live on Sky Sports and will kick off at 19:30 UK.
