Newcastle United will entertain Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park this Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win away at Everton recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Eddie Howe will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this contest. Jacob Murphy, Sandro Tonali and Fabian Schar could all play from the start of this game.

Defence
Aaron Ramsdale could get another chance to play in goal for the Magpies as Nick Pope is unlikely to recover in time for this game. Malick Thiaw will function alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Tino Livramento will fill in as the right-back, while Lewis Hall hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Dan Burn will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes will make up Howe’s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Magpies to come out on top this Tuesday night.
Lewis Miley and Joe Willock will make up the numbers on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Harvey Barnes will try to catch the eye on the left flank, while Jacob Murphy looks to make a difference from the right wing.
Nick Woltemade will spearhead Newcastle’s attack up top. He managed to get his name on the scoresheet versus Everton and would be eager to keep his good form going this week.
Anthony Elanga and Anthony Gordon will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Magpies are in need of a goal.
