NBC sportscaster Rodney Harrison had fans concerned after he appeared unwell during the Sunday Night Football broadcast.

Harrison, 52, was talking with Jac Collinsworth about the game between the Washington Commanders and Denver Broncos when the broadcaster stumbled over his words and stopped speaking.

"Yeah, I look at..." Harrison said before mumbling some more words and saying, "I forgot the —, I'm sorry."

When Collinsworth asked Harrison what the best strategy would be for the Washington defense, he said, “The best way to attack them," and stumbled again before apologizing for the bumpy reply.

"I’m sorry. There’s a lot of stuff going on, I’m sorry," he said.

Harrison was able to say, "They don’t have a lot of discipline on the defensive side of the ball," and then concluded, “That’s it. I’m sorry, guys.”

Fans showed concern on social media after the broadcast, with one writing, "They need to pull him aside and help him," and another saying, "It looked like he almost passed out."

After the broadcast, Richard Deitsch of The Athletic asked NBC if Harrison was alright, and was told Harrison would be on the Sunday Night Football postgame show as planned.

Awful Announcing said they were told Harrison was "fine" as well.

But some fans were still concerned. "He was swaying, appeared to nearly faint, then couldn’t answer or even understand a simple question. I don’t think he’s 'fine,' " one user said.

"Glad he’s OK. I thought he was having a stroke," wrote another.

On Monday, Dec. 1, Harrison confirmed to MassLive that he's okay and was just tired.

“I was exhausted working on a few hours of sleep watching my son play Saturday night. I had 3 hours of sleep on Sunday and had to work all day,” Harrison said in a text message to MassLive. “I was suffering from exhaustion. But I’m good.”
