When you're the defending Super Bowl champions, things are supposed to be simple. Easy. Fun.

Well, that is if you're anyone but the Philadelphia Eagles, who are coming off back-to-back losses against NFC rivals.

After having a strong start to the season, the team has faltered, and the main scapegoat has been the new offensive coordinator, Kevin Patullo.

Saquon Barkley has gone from an MVP contender in 2024 to an afterthought. A.J. Brown's cryptic messages and interview answers get more complex as the weeks go on. An offense that last year had huge big plays has gone quiet, outphysicaled by teams like the Bears and Cowboys.

While Patullo's introduction to being the primary playcaller in Philly hasn't been the best, things have seemingly gotten out of hand over the weekend.

Videos of young adults throwing rocks at what is alleged to be Patullo's house have begun springing up online, showcasing kids badmouthing the offensive coordinator and flinging objects at his private property.

Patullo took over duties for now-New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore, who left Philadelphia after winning the Super Bowl to lead his own franchise.

The Eagles OC began his NFL career as a quarterbacks coach in 2015 as part of the New York Jets franchise. After being fired from that role after two years, he moved to College Station and Texas A&M as a senior offensive analyst. He returned the NFL a year later as a wide receivers coach for the Indianapolis Colts before being promoted to pass game specialist for the 2020 season.

In 2021, he was picked up by the Eagles and worked directly under new head coach Nick Sirianni with the pass game. The two have worked closely together since, with Sirianni continuing to back Patullo as recently as last game, when he reaffirmed there would be no changed to the coordinator role following the back-to-back defeats.
