On December 12th, the third feature in Rian Johnson’s critically acclaimed whodunit franchise, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, premieres on Netflix. The writer-director’s previous two star-powered installments, Knives Out and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, each received Oscar nominations — the former for Best Original Screenplay, the latter for Best Adapted Screenplay — and introduced audiences to Daniel Craig’s whip-smart Detective Benoit Blanc with the Southern gentleman drawl. Now, Collider is thrilled to partner with Netflix and Landmark Theaters for a very special FYC screening of Wake Up Dead Man, followed by an in-person Q&A with Johnson.

With a mysterious murder befalling a small hamlet in upstate New York, the unmatched skills of the relentless Benoit Blanc are requested by police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis). A local Catholic church is in upheaval after a grisly crime is committed. In the face of this seemingly impossible and heinous act, Blanc must confront his deadliest case yet, as well as his own personal demons, to assist the young priest Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor) and the church’s shaken flock. Like the two films that preceded it, Wake Up Dead Man boasts an ensemble cast, including Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, and Jeffrey Wright.
