Cyber Monday deals are here, which means it's a great time to buy a fantastic laptop for less. Case in point, you can get the MacBook Air M4 for $749 (was $999) at Best Buy. But hurry, as I've seen a similar deal go out of stock pretty quickly at Amazon, so I have a feeling that this deal won't stick around for long either.

Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, M4): was US$999 now US$749 at Best BuyRead moreRead less▼Display - 13-inchProcessor - Apple M4RAM - 16GBStorage - 256GB
With a powerful M4 chip, this MacBook Air can handle just about any task you throw at it, while its excellent display, comfortable keyboard, and impressive battery life round it out. Right now it's on sale for $749, saving you 25% ($250). This is my favorite model because it gives you a little bit of everything: great performance, awesome portability, a fantastic display, and an affordable price tag.

View DealI'm a MacBook Air M2 user, so I've not used the latest M4 model. But not a lot has changed externally from the M2, which I use pretty much every day and haven't yet been let down by it; the keyboard, trackpad, display, fan-less design are all great, and the battery life is superb.
The M4 MacBook Air, as its name would suggest, swaps the M2 chip for the M4, offering more power and efficiency. Basically, the M4 MacBook Air is the current pinnacle for everyday slim-and-light laptops, and at under $750, it's basically a no-brainer purchase this Cyber Monday.
But don't take my word for it. In our MacBook Air 13-inch M4 review, Editor-at-Large Lance Ulanoff concluded: "The MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) has an excellent build and design, working on it is a pleasure, and the M4 provides all the power I need for the widest range of tasks. I appreciate the long battery life, bright, colorful screen, and clear audio. It has enough ports to support my almost always connected external screen, and I’m glad there’s still a vestigial 3.5mm headphone jack. macOS and the supporting Apple ecosystem are unparalleled."
So yeah, get this laptop...

Newer M3 and M4 models are now available, but this is an unbelievable price for a 13-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip. While it's an older model, it remains an incredibly powerful laptop for those who need a premium powerhouse for school, productivity, coding, or creative work. You also get double the RAM at 16GB (compared with, for example, a base Air M3), although the 256GB of storage feels a little paltry in 2025. Still, we rated it highly in our MacBook Air M2 review, thanks to the stylish design, clear display, impressive performance, and long 18-hour battery life.

If you want to hit the sweet spot between ultra-high performance and a reasonable price tag for a premium laptop, the M4 Pro is the way to go. It's considerably more affordable than the M4 Max, but still offers incredible computing power for all of your creative tasks. And you also get that beautiful 16-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, offering an eye-catching viewing experience for shows and story games in your downtime. Now for $350 off during Cyber Monday.

Apple's latest 14-inch MacBook Pro is down to the lowest price I've ever seen it at, thanks to Cyber Monday. If you already have an excellent M4 MacBook, you don't have a major reason to upgrade to the M5. But, if you're still rocking an M2, or even an Intel-based MacBook, this is an excellent opportunity to get a much-needed performance boost at a very reasonable price. This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but you can double the storage to 1TB for an extra $200.

Save $250 on Apple's latest 15-inch MacBook Air (M4), bringing it down to $949 total. This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, which I think is the sweet spot for university students and remote workers (especially when paired with a cloud storage service). If you want some more storage space, you can double it to 512GB for an extra $200.
