From that point on, they had to play the waiting game to see where the NCAA committee would place them in the NCAA Tournament.
On Sunday, when the seeding was announced, the Aggies were named a No. 2 seed and would host the first two rounds in the Bryan-College Station regional tournament. The bracket will include Texas A&M, Campbell, SFA, and No. 6 seed TCU.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementCoach Jamie Morrison has been transforming the A&M volleyball program back into a national powerhouse, and in three years, he has them hosting for the first time since 2019. This is their third straight appearance in the tournament, and they will face Campbell in the first game. If they win, they will play the winner of the SFA/TCU matchup. The Aggies have never played Campbell, have faced SFA 18 times, and have faced TCU only 4 times.
The group has played only TCU this season, losing that matchup 3-2 in Fort Worth, Texas. They would go on a seven-game winning streak, going 17-1 since that loss, while defeating three top-25 teams during that stretch.
Texas A&M will face Campbell at Reed Arena at 6:30 p.m. on December 5, with the game available to watch on ESPN+.
