The San Francisco 49ers traveled to Ohio for a Week 13 battle with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Hungtingon Bank Stadium, and Kyle Shanahan's team earned a 26-8 victory, which improved their record to 9-4 on the year.

San Francisco's offense was nothing special, as they totaled just 241 yards of offense, but their defense really led them to this win. Robert Saleh's unit held the Browns to eight total points while the special teams units were crucial as well, recovering a muffed punt and setting the offense up in good field position multiple times.

Following the win, there are a few 49ers who didn't have their best games and will need to put in extra effort on the practice field this week before they play again.

LT Trent Williams

Williams had arguably the toughest job in the NFL - stopping Myles Garrett, who entered the game leading the league in sacks and nearing the single-season record through 12 games.

On Sunday, Williams allowed nine pressures and gave up a sack. While he may have fared better than most, it was still a forgettable performance.

Run defense

Cleveland ran the ball well against San Francisco's front that was missing Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, Mykel Williams, Yetur Gross-Matos, Sam Okuayinonu and Tatum Bethune.

Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson combined to rush for 114 yards on 4.2 yards per attempt. Perhaps Saleh was content letting Cleveland run the ball because they were solid against the pass, holding Shedeur Sanders to just 149 yards and a touchdown in his second start.

WR Ricky Pearsall

Pearsall entered this game catching just three passes for six yards in his two games since returning from injury. On Sunday, he caught another two passes for 14 yards. The 49ers were expecting more from Pearsall so far this year, but he's now up to just 25 catches for 347 yards on the season. He needs to step up down the stretch.
