Shedeur Sanders was not able to pull off a win in his second start, but you'll see him back under center for the Cleveland Browns next week.

After leading the Browns to victory over the Raiders in his first start of his career, Cleveland was knocked off at home by the San Francisco 49ers 26-8 on Sunday. Sanders went 16-of-25 for 149 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions during the loss.

Many had wondered whether a loss this week would be the end of Sanders' tenure as the Browns' starting quarterback, but that does not appear to be the case. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski decided that the effort he saw from Sanders was good enough to retain the starting spot, and he let reporters know following the loss that he'd be back under center for the Browns against the Tennessee Titans next Sunday.

Following the game, Sanders was asked about starting in the upcoming showdown with the Titans. In his answer, he assured everyone listening that he understands that the franchise can't continue to disappoint and that he plans for the team to be better prepared next weekend.

"I remember when I wasn't playing, you, know so I never forget that feeling, you know," Sanders said following the game. "So I try my best to not let that happen again, you know, for me to be in that position. But we fell short today, you know, and we just can't continue doing that. We can't continue doing that at all. I know we let a lot of people down, we let some coaches down, some players and everything today. But we'll be ready to go next week."
