The Cleveland Browns lose another player in the trenches against the San Francisco 49ers.
Minutes after starting right tackle Jack Conklin was ruled out with a concussion, Browns’ starting defensive end Isaiah McGuire left the game with a leg injury. McGuire didn’t get up immediately after a run play at the start of the third quarter. McGuire eventually got up under his own power and walked into the blue medical tent. The Browns can’t lose too many members of their defensive line. The defensive end room is pretty fragile after Alex Wright’s injury. The Browns called up familiar face Sam Kamara for the game. Kamara is entering his third season with the team, even though most of his time has been on the practice squad.

McGuire is a tough player to replace as he’s a talented pass rusher and a serviceable run defender. He can play on all three downs. The Browns' defense needs to tighten up against a skilled 49ers offense. The team must give the offense a chance to win the game in the second half.
