The Raiders will be down another starting lineman Sunday. Jordan Meredith is down with an ankle injury, making the third starting offensive lineman the Raiders not playing for the Raiders, The other two are LT Kolton Miller and G Jackson Powers-Johnson, both of whom are on injured reserve.

Meredith had been the team's starting center to begin the season, but moved over to right guard when Powers-Johnson was lost to injury while Will Putnam came in at the center spot.

Putnam has struggled at center in his two starts, making many wonder why the team didn't just keep Meredith at center and bring in Alex Cappa at right guard. Now they may not have a choice but to keep Putnam at center and bring in Cappa at right guard.

There is another option, should the Raiders wish to explore it and that would be to put Cappa at center and bring in third round rookie Caleb Rogers at right guard. Cappa has had some reps at center, including initially coming in at center when JPJ went down before Putnam got the start there the following week. And many have called for the rookie Rogers to get some snaps at guard to see what the Raiders have in him with six games left in an otherwise lost season.

The team also activated Atonio Mafi from the practice squad as depth.
