We’ve got ourselves a lighter NFL Sunday due to the games played on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, plus there’s still Monday Night Football to come. As such, the early game slate is just seven games despite no teams on a bye, but there are two games of importance to the Seattle Seahawks.
On CBS, the San Francisco 49ers take on the Cleveland Browns in the first home start of Shedeur Sanders’ career. He won his debut against the Las Vegas Raiders last week, but the 49ers represent a slightly tougher matchup. The 49ers are 8-4 and on the heels of the Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West chase, so if Myles Garrett can do the Seahawks a solid that’d be great.

FOX has the Los Angeles Rams on the road against the Carolina Panthers. The good news is the Panthers are capable of winning on the road against the Green Bay Packers. The bad news is they’re also capable of losing at home to the New Orleans Saints. I’m not counting on a Panthers win, but if it happens then the Seahawks have a chance to move back into a tie for first place in the NFC West (with the Rams having the tiebreaker on the head-to-head win).
That’s pretty much it. The Seahawks are clear by two games over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as things stand so I’m not worried about Seattle being overtaken by them any time soon.
