The Rams come in at 9–2, riding a six-game winning streak and leading the NFC as one of the league’s top teams. Their offense, driven by veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, has been humming, averaging about 27.8 points per game and ranking in the top 10 in passing yards. Their defense has been equally impressive, allowing just 16.3 points per game (best in the NFL), giving up under 313 total yards per game, and proving stout against both the pass and the run. The Panthers arrive at 6–6, still fighting for consistency with Bryce Young under center. Carolina’s offense has struggled overall, scoring just 18 points per game and ranking low in passing productivity, though their rushing game remains a modest bright spot. On defense, the Panthers have had moments, but injuries to key players and recent lapses make it tough to contain a team like the Rams. For Carolina to stay competitive, Young will need to protect the ball, and the run game must stay effective. Even then, overcoming L.A.’s balanced offense and elite defense will be a steep climb.
