If somebody had told Miami Dolphins fans just a few weeks ago that they’d be in the hunt around the NFL, many would have laughed and walked away.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementUnfortunately for the Dolphins, being 4-7 doesn’t necessarily mean the team is truly in the hunt, but every graphic on TV now shows Miami in a possible playoff position.
For the Dolphins to do what they’re looking to do, it will likely require the team to win six games in a row.
They beat the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders and will now take on the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals. T
hose are six games they can realistically win after already winning the first two, so another four doesn’t seem like too tall a task.
Ultimately, however, the Dolphins will have to show they aren’t the same Dolphins of the past, and for one of the top defensive players on the team, he believes that’s a possibility.

The Buffalo one was more of everybody hitting their groove, everybody feeling good, and the Madrid one, we came down to the wire. We had to play real team football and buy into one another each phase.”
Confidence seems to be a big thing for the Dolphins over the past few years.
When the team plays good football, things typically go well. When it isn’t, things seem somewhat off.
