Confidence is key for someone like Shedeur Sanders, and while some don’t love his comments or attitude, the reality is that, for him to be successful moving forward, that confidence is going to have to stay with him and the Cleveland Browns.

That’s never a bad thing for a quarterback, and it sounds like others around the league are taking notice of it.
When speaking to reporters about the Browns and San Francisco 49ers game on Sunday in Week 13, San Francisco defensive coordinator and former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh had a lot of good things to say about Sanders and what he’s done in his early career.
“He’s a good, young quarterback. He's mobile, he's got a big arm, tremendous confidence,” said Saleh, per the team. “He made a couple of really, really good throws in the game against Vegas, extending plays, getting out of the pocket, delivering the ball where it needed to be delivered.

Saleh is one of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL, but it’s also a tough ask for San Francisco to be as good as it typically is on that side of the football due to the injuries it has dealt with. Nonetheless, this will be a tough task for Sanders, so he’ll have to come out and do what the Browns need him to do to win this game.
