Today’s Chelsea – Arsenal game is going to be a big one. We haven’t looked forward to a game against our old rivals this much for a while.

Every pundit under the sun has had their say on the game, and that includes Ray Parlour. What he had to say was pretty interesting.

“It’s going to be a brilliant game. Two teams not holding back, both going for the win and both having a lot of inform players,” the ex-Gunner said in an interview with SportsKeeda.

“The battle in the middle of the park will be excellent with Rice and Caicedo. Saka v Curacella is always a strong battle. So depending on who plays, it’s going to be filled with top players at the top of their game looking to get their team a win. But for Arsenal, It’s a case of continuing to be physical, winning the battle, then playing the football to get a positive result. I’d take a draw.”

The fact that Arsenal supporters are saying that, with such a good recent record at Stamford Bridge, is very telling about how far the Blues have come, even since our last meeting in the spring. The Gunners have won 12 of their last 13 in all competitions and haven’t lost at Stamford Bridge for more than 7 years – but they’re still hoping for a draw here.

That is a huge compliment for Enzo Maresca and his team.

In other news…

Today is a huge game which Chelsea would love to win, but the club aren’t putting any pressure on Enzo Maresca, who has already done better than they expected and is making great progress.

Moises Caicedo is going to be key for Chelsea today as the Blues look to take on Arsenal in the Premier League. We need him at full power to have a chance.
