Two teams square off Saturday night for a chance to play for a regional championship.

Texas schools Forney and Willis square off in the UIL Division II Region II semifinals, taking place at Frisco’s Ford Center.

Both Forney and Willis come into Saturday’s matchup with identical 10-2 records. The winner advances to next week 6A DII Region II final against DeSoto, which posted a 56-34 win against The Woodlands College Park on Friday.

SECOND QUARTER

- FUMBLE RECOVERY FORNEY. Wow, what a play by the Jackrabbits defense, as Nick Moreno knocked the ball loose from a Willis player who was about to cross the goal line, and Forney's Xzavier Young recovers with a minute left in the first half.

- Willis has put together a lengthy drive, and the Wildkats are inside the Forney 10 at the two-minute warning.

- TOUCHDOWN WILLIS. Wildkats move 80 yards in 11 plays, capped by a  Lincoln Frazier pass to Jaivion Martin covering 14 yards. (Willis, 10-0 | 10:12, 2nd)
