As soon as one starter returns, another hits the shelf. The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Saturday that Isaiah Hartenstein has sustained a right soleus strain and will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days.

Hartenstein had played the entire 2025-26 regular season until Friday. He missed the Thunder's 123-119 win over the Phoenix Suns with ankle soreness.

Well, that likely knocks Hartenstein out for at least OKC's next five games. He could miss their 2025 NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup against the Suns on Wednesday, Dec. 10. Bummer injury news just as soon as Jalen Williams returned.

Another bump on the road for the Thunder. They've juggled injuries all season. Hartenstein has played his best basketball. After a career season last year, he's one-upped himself. The 27-year-old has averaged 12.2 points on 67.1% shooting, 10.7 and 3.4 assists.
