Even though Naruto wrapped up more almost a decade ago, the fandom remains one of the most passionate in anime. The ninjas, the epic battles, the emotional journeys, all of it left a mark that still resonates. Even with years passing, fans keep re-watching, debating, and keeping the flame alive.
December 2025 is shaping up to deliver a huge treat to reward that longstanding loyalty. The classic Naruto characters, skins, and gear that fans know and love are reportedly returning to Fortnite after a long absence. For many, it’s more than just cosmetics: it's nostalgia, community, and a resurgence of one of anime’s greatest legacies.
Naruto Is Returning To Fortnite In December
The Naruto x Fortnite Collaboration Is Making A Full Comeback
Multiple outlets are now reporting that the Naruto-themed cosmetics will return to Fortnite in December 2025. According to a recent breakdown (via Techwiser), the long-awaited comeback is finally happening after almost 1,500 days away from the Item Shop.
The return isn’t just limited to a single character, either. It looks like almost the full Naruto x Fortnite roster is coming back. As per the reports, players should be able to purchase eight different Naruto-universe characters with their corresponding gear.
The lineup reportedly includes classic skins like Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake together in a bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks. The much-loved Sasuke Uchiha & Sakura Haruno bundle is coming back too, priced at 2,200 V-Bucks.
Other Fortnite Naruto bundles making a reported return include villain and support-character bundles, like the Itachi Uchiha & Orochimaru bundle (2,200 V-Bucks) and Gaara & Hinata Hyuga bundle (2,400 V-Bucks).
Gear-only bundles are reportedly returning too: the “Shinobi Gear Bundle”, with pickaxes, emotes, and extras, will cost 1,500 V-Bucks, while the “Nindo Gear Bundle,” a smaller gear pack, is listed at 1,300 V-Bucks.
For fans hoping for a full-scale Naruto Fortnite return, everything that made the original collaboration so popular appears to be coming back. Based on the leaks, this feels like more than just a rerun; it's a revival. For many Fortnite players who grew up on Naruto, December is shaping up to be a long-awaited homecoming.
Naruto’s Withstanding Popularity Is A Testament To Its Quality
The Naruto x Fortnite Hype Shows How Beloved The Anime Remains
The excitement over Naruto’s return to Fortnite speaks volumes about the enduring appeal of the series. Despite ending years ago, Naruto’s themes like friendship, perseverance, sacrifice, still resonate strongly. The fact that a major game like Fortnite sees value in reactivating the Naruto set shows just how impactful the series remains.
Naruto’s longevity isn’t just about nostalgia. The characters, their arcs, and the worldbuilding are built on foundations that stand the test of time. When a collab in a contemporary, mainstream game still gets hype over a decade later, it underscores that this isn’t just about fad or trend, it’s about legacy.
That legacy has cultivated a global fanbase that didn’t shrink with the end of the original Naruto TV series. Players who grew up on Naruto now span generations. Many newcomers discover the story for the first time and instantly connect with its emotional core. That kind of cross-generation appeal doesn’t happen by accident.
Bringing Naruto into Fortnite again, with full character sets, iconic gear, and skins, gives fans a chance to celebrate the series in a modern space. It’s a recognition of Naruto’s status as one of anime’s defining sagas, not just for those who watched it when it aired, but for anyone discovering it today. In that sense, the December comeback is more than cosmetic, it’s a reaffirmation that Naruto still matters.
