Jayson Tatum is currently sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury. He's expected to miss most, if not all, of the Boston Celtics' 2025-26 season. However, in recent weeks, he's been posting some encouraging workout videos to social media, including one of him doing a straight vertical dunk in practice.
Sooner or later, Tatum will return to Joe Mazzulla's rotation. And, while a ramp-up period is inevitable, the aim will undoubtedly be for him to return to an All-NBA level, ideally as quickly as possible. Of course, there's also a chance that Tatum continues to improve. After all, a year away from basketball has given his entire body an opportunity to heal, while his work in the gym is undoubtedly adding size and strength to his frame.
