The San Francisco 49ers got some major additions in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. Not only did Ricky Pearsal return to the lineup, but franchise quarterback Brock Purdy was also back for the first time since Week 4.

Purdy played well in his debut back from injury against the Cardinals, but in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers, he struggled a ton. He threw three interceptions in the first half and was a topic of concern for the fan base.

But what about within the organization? According to ESPN's Nick Wagoner, reporter for the 49ers, the team has a clear stance on their franchise quarterback after his brutal Week 12 performance.

49ers not concerned with Brock Purdy despite brutal Week 12 performance

"The short answer: Not really." Wagoner writes. "The Niners and Purdy were pleased with how he fared against Arizona in his return, and though he threw three first-half interceptions against Carolina, coach Kyle Shanahan said he was fine with the decisions, and Purdy was just a bit late on the throws."

San Francisco would have every reason to be concerned after Purdy threw three interceptions in the first half against a mediocre Panthers defense.

But Shanahan and the 49ers are not concerned at the moment. Purdy went 23/32 for 193 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in Week 12, securing the 20-9 win.

While he can't afford to have such turnovers against better opponents or in closer games, Purdy was good enough to overcome those blunders, and he's more than capable of bouncing back.

Looking at his season statistics, his 979 passing yards and eight touchdowns in four starts are good, but his seven interceptions in the same time frame are way too many.

While Purdy might have a turnover issue this season, Shanahan and the rest of the 49ers are reportedly not concerned about Purdy.

He needs to fix these mistakes by the time the playoffs come around, but as long as he does, there should be no worries about the 49ers' starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.
