The Cleveland Browns' rookie quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, has earned himself an opportunity to become the starter in the future.
After playing well last Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, reports have indicated that Shedeur Sanders will be given an extended opportunity to become the franchise QB that the city of Cleveland has been looking for for the better part of two decades. He will start his second consecutive game Sunday at home against the San Francisco 49ers. It will be a matchup that could provide Sanders with more experience, learning how to extend plays, and get the ball down the field.

I think any player though, once you get one game under your belt, you got the next one coming. I think it can only help."
According to Sanders, he understands that nothing is given and everything is earned in the NFL. "I'm definitely not comfortable, though, so that's first and foremost that I have another opportunity to go out there," Sanders said Wednesday. "But in life, you got to understand how quickly things come or how long it comes, it could be taken at any point in time."
"So I'm never comfortable in a situation I'm in. I always want to exceed expectations, and I always want to grow in each and every week, I would want to put a better product of myself, be a better version of myself for the team to be out there."
Shedeur Sanders has a lot of work to do if he wants to be a great QB in this league and have the NFL longevity that the Browns desperately need. Last week, after beating the Raiders, he would make a simple statement saying, "I'm who they're looking for." The tougher test against the 49ers on Sunday should reveal a little more, but the Browns are not giving Sanders a short leash and are very confident that he can be "The QB" of the future for Cleveland.
