Just one game remains for the US LBM Coaches Poll No. 9 Notre Dame's 2025 regular season, and it's a late one on Saturday night at Stanford.

The Fighting Irish (9-2) are are coming off of a 70-7 throttling of Syracuse last week, while the Cardinal (4-7) enjoyed a 31-10 win over Cal.

Despite carrying the ball just eight times in last week's rout of the Orange, star Irish RB Jeremiyah Love had one of his most dominating performances of the season. He rushed for 171-yards and three scores, and he will have one last chance to impress Heisman Trophy voters in this one. Can he become the first RB to win the award since Derrick Henry in 2015?

The Irish are used to playing must-win games going back to last season after the loss to NIU, so don't expect a letdown in this one.

Notre Dame vs. Stanford predictions, picks for college football Week 14

Dave Miller

Notre Dame 37, Stanford 20: I don't even expect a slow start for the Fighting Irish despite the late kickoff. The Cardinal may be coming off of a nice win over rival Cal, but Marcus Freeman's squad is incredibly focused.

I don't expect the Irish to hang 70 on the Cardinal, but I do expect a nice bow to be put on a 10-2 regular season before waiting to find out their opponent in the CFP.
