The Cincinnati Bengals pulled off a shocking upset over the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night, 32-14.

It didn't help the Ravens that their secondary suffered some injuries throughout the game, allowing Bengals wideout Ja'Marr Chase to feast on a depleted group. He hauled in seven receptions for 110 yards, but after the game, Chase talked about facing off against his former teammate Chidobe Awuzie.

"I love Chido (Awuzie), man. Me and Chido go way back. He's been working with me since my rookie year. It's always nothing but love and competitiveness when I'm going against Chido," Chase said after the game.

Awuzie spent three years of his NFL career with the Bengals from 2021 to 2023, and was a member of the Cincinnati team that made it to the Super Bowl in 2021.
Clearly, the former Colorado standout made a mark on the young Chase, who came into the league the first year Awuzie was on the team.
After an injury to Nate Wiggins during the Thursday night tilt, Awuzie was forced into the game and given one of the most difficult assignments on the team.
