Xbox Game Pass has an excellent selection of games, and thanks to its Free Play Days, you can check out multiple new games this week if you're an Ultimate, Premium, or Essential member (and a few games even if you're not a subscriber). And if you're a fan of RPGs, it's even better, since two of the freebies are great games from that genre.
As shared via the official Xbox news page, the latest Free Play Days promotion will run from November 27-November 30, 2025. Even if you're not subbed to Game Pass, you'll be able to play Hypnospace Outlaw, Let’s Build a Zoo, and Biped 2 for free this weekend. For those on the Essential, Premium, and Ultimate tiers, though, you'll also get access to new awesome RPGs.
Xbox Game Pass Adds Two New RPGs You Can Try Free
The First Berserker: Khazan and Hammerwatch 2 are both a part of November's Free Play Days on Game Pass. Although both titles are different in terms of design and gameplay, they have one thing in common — they're both RPGs you should definitely check out. Depending on what kind of RPG mood you're in, both Hammerwatch 2 and Khazan are solid options for weekend gaming.
Releasing earlier this year, The First Berserker: Khazan has gotten a number of updates that have only made it better. Khazan can be a notoriously difficult game, but some newer difficulty options have made it more accessible for people who aren't necessarily into challenging Soulslikes. With a cool anime aesthetic and epic boss fights, there's a lot for RPG fans to love about The First Berserker: Khazan, so it's definitely worth checking out.
Hammerwatch 2 Is An RPG With A Classic Look
Hammerwatch 2, which originally launched in 2023, already looks like a classic RPG. Fusing its action combat with old-school graphics, it's perfect for anyone yearning for the Baldur's Gate or Warcraft games of yore. Although arguably not as good as its predecessor, Hammerwatch 2 is still enjoyable, and it's definitely worth checking out while it's free on Xbox Game Pass.
There's no denying Game Pass is great for RPG fans, but getting to check out The First Berserker: Khazan and Hammerwatch 2 for free during the same weekend is a pretty nice deal. And if RPGs aren't your thing, there are three more games being offered for Free Play Days, even if you don't have an Xbox Game Pass membership. No matter what you choose to play, you'll need to act fast, since the promotion only runs through November 30.
