It was a virtuoso performance by Jordan Love, and if you had any doubts, Toyotathon has definitely kicked off.

Love threw for four touchdown passes in the Green Bay Packers' Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions. It was a massive win for the Packers, now 8-3-1, and for Love, it was a game that ultimately could go on an MVP highlight reel.

Sure, he only threw for 234 yards, but every time the Packers needed a big play through the air, Love delivered.

He completed three crucial fourth-down passes -- two for touchdowns and one for the game-winning dagger late in the fourth quarter --, and he hit Christian Watson for a big-time moonshot touchdown for 51 yards.

Love completed 18-of-30 passes, but he also saw his receivers drop a few more, which has been a problem this season. In all, it was a fantastic performance from Love, and his body of work this season has been nothing short of great.

He's now thrown for 2,794 yard and 19 touchdowns on the season compared to just three interceptions. He hasn't thrown a pick in four-straight games, and he's thrown only one interception over the past seven.

Love was Green Bay's MVP of the 31-24 win over the Lions, but after the contest, he preferred to give credit to his offensive line.

“Credit to our O-line for giving me plenty of time to make those throws,” he said, according to ESPN. “It’s really the reason why we were able to win the game.”

That's the franchise quarterback thing to say, but the numbers also back up Love's praise of his offensive line.

The Lions didn't record a single sack on Thanksgiving, and they barely got any pressure.

They have one of the best defensive ends in the NFL in Aidan Hutchinson, and they put him on a milk carton. He couldn't notch a quarterback hit, let alone a sack. The Lions paid him to basically run a turkey trot out there. He was simply doing cardio, but credit to Green Bay's offensive line, because they are the ones who made that so.

Last weekend against the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers benched right guard Jordan Morgan and went with second-round rookie Anthony Belton. They also were forced into using Sean Rhyan at center rather than Elgton Jenkins because Jenkins was lost to a season-ending injury. Jenkins is a former Pro Bowler, but ironically, the Packers look better up front with Rhyan at center.

The law firm of Rasheed Walker, Aaron Banks, Rhyan, Belton and Zach Tom may be Green Bay's best starting five up front, and the proof was in the pudding against the Lions.

If that offensive line unit can keep playing at that level, Love will continue having games worthy of the NFL's MVP conversation.
